Operation and registration

Before you register, take the time to define your needs. We advise you to consider all aspects of your stay. 

The main objective

What are your ambitions at the end of this stay? 

• improve your language skills,
• prepare for official certification (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge...),
• acquire new language skills in a specific field (e.g. business English).

The destination 

Although the destination is often a choice of the heart, it must also meet certain practical criteria to facilitate your daily life during your stay. Take into account any constraints in terms of budget, travel or time difference. Choose a country that matches your preferences in terms of climate, culture and activities. 

Accommodation 

The choice of accommodation must also be carefully considered, as it must match both your wishes and your budget, and will have a considerable impact on the quality of your stay. We offer several accommodation options: 

• University residence if you want to stay in a multicultural environment,
• Homestay for complete immersion in the host country,
• In a shared or private apartment if you prefer to be totally independent.

You can also choose to stay on your own, by opting for a package without accommodation.

Once you have an idea of the type of language stay that's right for you, all you have to do is complete the online quote and validate the option that suits you best. One of our advisors will then contact you to finalize your registration. If you would like us to help you prepare your quote, please contact us.

Once your registration has been validated by the partner school, we will send you a confirmation email including your detailed summary and the invoice for your stay.

We will take all the necessary steps to organize your program and guide you through the administrative formalities (passports, visas, etc.). 

We will ask you to finalize payment for your program 45 days before departure. 

We'll take care of all the arrangements to ensure your stay is an unforgettable experience. On your side, be sure to prepare the following items:

• Book your ticket,
• Make sure you comply with all administrative formalities (visa, passport, etc.),
• Health and cancellation insurance,
• Reservation of your accommodation (if not chosen with LangStart International).

When you arrive, you can go directly to your accommodation. If you have chosen the transfer option, the school's transportation provider will pick you up at the airport or train station and take you to your accommodation.

On your first day at the school, you'll be welcomed by the staff, who will introduce you to the facilities and the team at your disposal. 

Afterwards, an assessment test will be carried out to place you in the most appropriate course level. This will ensure your linguistic progress.

Finally, you will find general information such as: activities organized by the school, public transport, where to find a bank/grocery store/post office...

Members of the school will accompany you on site to meet your needs throughout your stay: 

• If you have any questions about the course, please contact the school's support team,
• The activities team will guide you around the city and its surroundings, and take part in activities & excursions during your stay.
• The student assistance service will be happy to help you with any queries you may have concerning housing, medical cover, integration difficulties, etc.

The LangSgtart international team will not abandon you during your stay, and will remain at your disposal whenever you need us.
